Using Latin (English) letters; this course is introductory and will use simplified modern Arabic for everyday use, employing spoken clear Arabic which has many accents, where an emphasis will be on a uniformed Egyptian-Syrian with terms used both in the Gulf and North Africa.
Arabic is also used for Prayers in Muslim countries, though, most are in classical Arabic; some common words will be used too. Like (Salam) and (Allah).
Learning classical Arabic is a different course and technique.
